Anger is represented by a wide range of emotions. It can be experienced as feeling furious, exasperated, unhappy or irritated. We may feel vulnerable and anger may act as a shield in our need to protect ourselves. There are several ways to consider where the anger may come from and explore how to move to a quieter, calmer space. With courage and a sense of safety, counselling allows us the opportunity to understand ourselves better and change the way we respond to situations. It can also help us to recognize how we feel and then decide how to deal with our anger.
